A beautifully nurturing Hatha class that starts with a gentle asana practice followed by a 30-minute guided relaxation known as Yoga Nidra. This ancient practice is also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness. This practice intended to induce full-body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness.
Ashram Yoga style classes are traditional Hatha yoga comprising asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) which help bring peace to the mind and body. These steady hatha classes are led at a comfortable and mindful pace with focus on alignment and breath awareness.
