About The Event

Over these six weeks, get inspired with yogic principles and foundational practices to establish your own home practice.  Balance is key, and during this course, you learn how to choose what suits your lifestyle and needs in a simple and powerful way.

Lead by Yoga teacher-practitioners Sankalpananda and Atma Okan of Ashram Yoga.  Together they share their passion and vast experience of these ancient teachings.  Both with decades of a committed yoga practice, they know the power that a consistent yoga practice will have on your life.

Each week is taught live, via zoom giving you direct access to your teachers (no pre-recorded content) and a like-minded community.  Each session is supported through a closed Facebook group and a weekly home practice to help develop, explore and personalise your own.

Over the six weeks, create depth and insight into your yoga practice in a progressive way.   Each session covers:

  • Learning more about your anatomy and how to connect with this in your yoga postures.  
  • How to apply yoga asana to your specific needs.  
  • Understanding  what different practices achieve and how they are relevant to you.
  • Five Pranayama techniques (breathwork practices) to balance, vitalise and align energetically.
  • Two meditation techniques to connect with the heart and the mind and  help navigate through the stresses of life.
