About The Event
The Level 2 Immersion Teacher Training Course is held at Ashram Yoga’s Ohui Retreat in New Zealand over the duration of 19 days. In addition to advancing your skills and competencies as a yoga teacher, you will also experience the benefits of living within an ashram lifestyle.
We focus on the deeper energetic aspects of yoga, including the anatomy of the subtle body (chakras, koshas and nadis) as related to more complex postures, breathing techniques and teaching methods. We also begin the in-depth study and understanding of the Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) technique.
At the end of the course, you will have earned hours contributing towards the Yoga Alliance's RYT-500 certification and will have the skills and knowledge to teach more challenging yoga classes and workshops.
