About The Event

This x3 day meditation experience is being offered as an opportunity to utilize the transformative energy of Ohui to connect to Self and source before we farewell this site.

Led by Ashram Yoga senior teacher Devananda come glimpse and be guided towards the ever existent steadiness within you.

Donation Based Retreat

This retreat is run on a donation basis. All expenses are paid by donations from those who have completed the retreat, experienced the benefits, and wish to give others the same opportunity. This retreat would usually be priced at around $350 to cover the cost of accommodation, facilities & facilitators ($100 deposit already paid). The remaining donation can be paid at the conclusion of the retreat (closing circle) where the facilitator will take you through the process. We ask that you give what you can and we appreciate your time, energy and contribution in creating this group meditation experience and ensuring the Ashram Yoga Silent Retreat can continue into the future for others to enjoy.

We ask that people attending this retreat to arrive on Thursday evening. A light meal will be served at 6.30pm. It is important that everyone is present for the opening circle at 8pm. We encourage carpooling with other participants so please let us know if you are able to offer a lift or would like one.


We ask participants to stay the full length of the retreat. We also ask participants to observe silence (ie no talking) throughout the weekend unless otherwise advised.

Course Structure

The programme includes a lot of seated meditation, so please bring anything you need to make yourself comfortable. The periods of meditation are alternated with yoga postures and breath-work to support your experience, plus daily Karma Yoga (yoga of action – helping with gardening, etc).
