Level 2 Part-Time
Yoga Teacher Training Course
Our Level 2 Part-Time Teacher Training Course is taught as a series of weekend workshops - one per month - over a five-month period. Each month builds upon the preceding months giving you an experiential understanding of the yoga practices involved.
We focus on the deeper energetic aspects of yoga, including the anatomy of the subtle body (chakras, koshas and nadis) as related to more complex postures, breathing techniques and teaching methods. We also begin the in-depth study and understanding of the Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation) technique.
At the end of the course, you will have earned hours contributing towards the Yoga Alliance's RYT-500 certification and will have the skills and knowledge to teach more challenging yoga classes and workshops.

Our Auckland-based teacher training courses are held at Yoga Ground Studio, 56 Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn.

Weekend Course Times
For the Auckland weekends the course times are as follows;
Saturday: 11am - 7.30pm
Sunday: 11am - 6.30pm
For the Ohui Retreat weekends, course times are:
Weekend 1: Friday 10am - Sunday 4pm
Weekend 5: Friday 10am - Sunday 4.30pm
A number of breaks are included throughout each day. Please note that meals and hot drinks are not provided. Full meals and board are provided for the Ohui Retreat weekends.
Missed Weekends
If you miss a weekend, whether that is the first weekend or one during the course, then that is no problem at all. We can arrange for a course instructor to take you through the course material in a private session. The cost is $300 per day missed, per person.
